1 to 2 Inch:
This is the same size and shape of the original Rose-Index with a range of 1” to 2” diameters. It is made from aluminum and hard anodized to keep pricing more affordable for the nonprofessionals. Just like it’s steel twin, this tool does not require any collets and maintains a firm and stable grip on your work piece through the entire size range. It is 100% machined from solid aluminum. All three shapes are machined during the same fixturing to maintain accuracy. This unique version of an indexer is not intended to hold your workpiece, which allows you to turn your machine vise into an indexer in seconds. It is also Removable which gives you almost obstruction free machining of your part.
Easily re-position your workpiece in various ways.
-Rotating 45, 60, or 90 degrees is very easy to do. 30 degrees can be achieved by alternating between a square and adjustable parallels on the Hex. Using angled parallels or upgrading to the “Degree Wheel” allows for 1 degree increments.
-Referencing. The Rose-Index is a quick easy way to maintain a reference on your round part so you can remove it for inspection, going from machine to machine, or even for deburring.
-Repositioning by shifting over if you need that couple inches of extra machine travel or even flip the part end for end for a drastic increase to your machine’s work envelope.

Just like it’s steel twin, this tool does not require any collets and maintains a firm and stable grip on your work piece through the entire size range. It is 100% machined from solid aluminum. All three shapes are machined during the same fixturing to maintain accuracy. This unique version of an indexer is not intended to hold your workpiece, which allows you to turn your machine vise into an indexer in seconds. Even though the RI1A Hobbyist is removable giving you almost obstruction free machining of your part…..You will typically have plenty of clearance to leave it on.
